We also have a call for help from final year degree student at Kingston University for participants living in Kingston to complete a short 5 minute questionnaire for her dissertation.

See below for more details:

  • River restoration on the Hogsmill with the South East Rivers Trust.
If you were involved or have benefited from the changes in the Riverbank at Knights park
(follow link to see the changes over time) there is another opportunity to get involved with the team that worked with us to make this happen.

SERT are going to be implementing some restoration through a 1 km stretch of the Hogsmill, such as installing Large Woody Material, bank softening and channel narrowing. These techniques will help increase flow diversity in the river, creating habitats for invertebrates, fish and other wildlife.

Make sure you sign up!

Spaces are limited to 15 volunteers per day.
If you are interested in joining one or all days, please email Polly (polly@southeastriverstrust.org
) as soon as you can to book your place.
