16-02-2017: Events for Student Health and Volunteering Week

As part of the week of events there are two that are coming up that will interest those of you who want to grow plants as well as take photos.

The first opportunity - the Biodiversity Photo Competition: is open to all; photos must be taken during KU's Health and Volunteering Week (20-26 Feb 2017) and the theme is "Habitats and the species associated with them".

We'd love to find out what habitats and species you see when you're walking during the week. Kingston Trails (www.kingstontrails.com/trails) has some brilliant walks to inspire you.

As a bit of added fun, if you happen to track your steps, it would be lovely to find out what your step count associated with your submission was.

First Prize - £30 Jessops Voucher.
Second Prize - 1 jar of the 2016 honey harvest from Kingston Uni's bees at Kingston Hill.
